Horizontal Surface Aerator Receives Patent for Unique Features
The MONSOON paddlewheel Surface Aerator has been issued U.S. Patent Number 6,634,626.
The patent covers both the product itself and a number of distinct product features, including a support structure with integral legs and a rotating paddlewheel with its paddles extending below the water line.
The advantage of integral legs is that it allows the aerators to be services on land without damage to pontoons or paddlewheels. Feet are also provided to prevent damage to the surface on which the aerator rests. In addition, to easier field maintenance and repair, the legs increase the ease with which aerator can be built or assembled.
