PACKAGED WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANTS - How It Works
Raw wastewater is pumped into the PACKAGED PLANT where it is screened and flows into an equalization chamber to even out the flow through the
plant. The wastewater then moves through extended aeration vessels where BOD is removed. A clarifier then separates the wastewater providing
a clear effluent. Chlorination or UV disinfects the effluent for safe discharge to the environment. Sludge is partially recycled improving
treatment efficiency. Waste sludge is digested before discharge. (See drawing on illustration page)
AEROMIX PACKAGED WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANTS are suitable for proper treatment of various types of wastewater from industries and municipalities.
Tank sizes and internal flow rates are custom designed to meet the treatment requirements of your wastewater.
Prefilters, post filtration and other treatment systems can be added to meet specific site conditions or effluent requirements.
